Ranking in another country
Im trying to rank a site in the US but Im German, are there special things I need to consider for this? Im still a newbie
There are many things to consider. From domain, through actual content all the way to backlinks and other references.

Thank you for the reply. Im trying to rank local in a low competetive area for lead generation, without an adress. My nieche is flooring, I already did research on the keywords. One of my concerns is that with the backlinks, wich I did mostly via social media, all the sites assume that Im german, wich is true, but I don't want to rank in germany.
You need to have an English language website as your target audience would be English speakers. Also, If you need to rank your website, I recommend you to work with Evision Atlanta. They are working on my website for 7 months. The traffic and keywords rankings has been improved. I have 75 keywords that are ranking on the 1st page.
It might be better to host the server in your target country .
